Trump Confirmed Less Credible Than the Meadia, By The Poeple…
Donald Trump is losing his fight with the media. And badly. It is heartening to see data that paints a clear picture that the majority of the American public believe the truth, that Trump is less credible than the media. That Trump is more often than not fabricating or twisting the truth.
Anyone really paying attention, reading several credible news sources daily, knows the alternate facts and fake news is coming out of the White House.
Trump Badly Losing His Fights With Media
PPP’s newest national poll finds that Donald Trump is losing all of his fights with the media- and voters really think he needs to reduce his cable news consumption.
62% of voters nationally think Trump should keep his cable watching to less than an hour a day, and 82% think he needs to keep it under 2 hours a day. Just 6% of voters in the country think it’s a good idea for Trump to spend more than 2 hours a day watching cable news.
Last week Trump declared that the news media was the ‘enemy of the American people’ but we find that only 35% of voters believe that, to 53% who say that isn’t the case. By a 48/44 spread they say it is actually Trump who is the greater threat to the American people than the media. We asked voters who they thought had more credibility between Trump and each of the outlets he singled out for attack last week, and Trump loses out to every one of them by double digits:

We also in general find that voters find the media outlets Trump considers hostile to him credible, while it finds the outlets more friendly to him less credible.

All 5 of the outlets Trump singled out for attack last week are seen as credible by majorities of the public. Out of the Trump friendly outlets only Fox News comes out seen as more credible than not, but it is still seen as less credible than all the mainstream outlets Trump targeted in his media attack tweet last week. Meanwhile Daily Caller, Info Wars, and Breitbart clearly still just appeal to fringes of the population even with Trump in the White House- even within his base only 6-20% of voters consider each of those sources to be credible.
Of course the word out of the White Hose will be FAKE NEWS!

Many French Like Obama, Trying To Draft Him To Run For President In France…
French Voters Call On Obama To Run For President To “Give French People Hope”
As French voters look set to make a massive swing to the right in their upcoming presidential election (see our notes on the topic here and here), a group of frightened liberal protesters have decided to back a relatively surprising, if impossible, presidential candidate in 2017, Barack Obama.
And, lest you thing this is a joke, a quick walk around Paris even reveals campaign posters for “Obama17” plastered all around the city.
The group of protesters who launched the effort to bring “hope and change” to France are urging French citizens to visit their website to sign a petition to convince Obama to enter the race. They figure that 1 million signatures should do the trick.
Meanwhile, asked why they support Obama, protesters told ABC News they’re looking for a candidate they “really admire” and “someone who could lead us to project ourselves in a bright future to give French people hope.”
Why Obama? “Because he has the best resume in the world for the job,” reads the website, which is in no way connected to Obama.“At a time when France is about to vote massively for the extreme right, we can still give a lesson of democracy to the planet by electing a French President, a foreigner,” reads the website in French.
A spokesperson for the group told ABC News Thursday morning, “We started dreaming about this idea two months before the end of Obama’s presidency. We dreamed about this possibility to vote for someone we really admire, someone who could lead us to project ourselves in a bright future. Then, we thought, whether it’s possible or not, whether or not he is Fhe U.S.A.”
And while we have our doubts about the likelihood of this plan working out, might we suggest rench, we have to do this for real, to give French people hope … Vive la République, Vive Obama, Vive la France and tthat Hillary Clinton would make a great candidate for a senior cabinet position in Obama’s new administration.
Really not all that surprising. For obvious reasons.
As Bannon Re-affirms The Ride To The Bottom Of The Swamp…
The blazing question of our tie is this, does the rational intelligent population of this nation have the proverbial balls to stand up and destroy the white nationalism, xenophobia, misogyny, ant-Semitism, and the rest of reactionary agenda the Trump administration has brought to our government? My sense is no, it does not.
Unless Trump and Bannon are stopped stand ready to accept and be governed by hatred, alternative facts , division, and the bigotry that defines Trump and his administration. Trump and Bannon do not represent American values nor do they represent or understand our constitution.

The reclusive mastermind behind President Trump’s nationalist ideology and combative tactics made his public debut Thursday, delivering a fiery rebuke of the media and declaring that the new administration is in an unending battle for “deconstruction of the administrative state.”
Stephen K. Bannon, the White House chief strategist and intellectual force behind Trump’s agenda, used his first speaking appearance since Trump took office to vow that the president would honor all of the hard-line pledges of his campaign.
Appearing at a gathering of conservative activists alongside Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, Bannon dismissed the idea that Trump might moderate his positions or seek consensus with political opponents. Rather, he said, the White House is digging in for a long period of conflict to transform Washington and upend the world order.
“If you think they’re going to give you your country back without a fight, you are sadly mistaken,” Bannon said in reference to the media and opposition forces. “Every day, it is going to be a fight.”
He continued, “And that is what I’m proudest about Donald Trump. All the opportunities he had to waver off this, all the people who have come to him and said, ‘Oh, you’ve got to moderate’ — every day in the Oval Office, he tells Reince and I, ‘I committed this to the American people, I promised this when I ran, and I’m going to deliver on this.’ ”
Yes indeed. He promised his base, which makes up approximately 40% of the people, and he is going to deliver. So, if we want America to actual;ly fulfill its promise and continue to be a guiding light for liberty and justice the 60% had better damn well dig in for the long fight. And, be prepared to take casualties. Because that is how those folks run.
