Weeks after a U.S. Navy SEAL was killed in a covert mission in Yemen, Trump has resisted accepting responsibility for authorizing the mission and the subsequent death of Senior Chief Petty Officer William \u201cRyan\u201d Owens.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Fox News that aired Tuesday morning, Trump said the mission \u201cwas started before I got here.\u201d<\/p>\n

He noted that the operation was something his generals \u201cwere looking at for a long time doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was something that was, you know, just \u2014 they wanted to do,\u201d Trump said. \u201c And they came to see me and they explained what they wanted to do, the generals, who are very respected.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd they lost Ryan,\u201d Trump continued.<\/p>\n

Owen is the first U.S. service member killed in the line of duty during Trump’s administration.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Isn’t this exactly what we have come to expect from Trump. Because he is the greatest, most successful, and He ALWAYS wins <\/strong><\/em>(in his own narcissistic mind) he can’t bear any responsibility for a bad decision or failure.<\/p>\n
