Wednesday on Fox News Channel\u2019s \u201cThe O\u2019Reilly Factor,\u201d Rep. Peter King (R-NY), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, admitted after his committee\u2019s review of President Donald Trump\u2019s claim the Obama administration had wiretapped his transition team, he had a \u201clegitimate case to make,\u201d but said he may have overstepped with his Twitter claim.<\/p>\n
\u201c[T]he president had a very legitimate case to make,\u201d King said. \u201cHe overstepped it by saying President Obama ordered wiretapping. That we don\u2019t know, but what we do know is to me this is shameful.\u201d<\/p>\n
Host Bill O\u2019Reilly pressed King on the seriousness of Trump being \u201csurveilled,\u201d to which King said it was at least 99.5 percent correct he was surveilled.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would say, from all I know, you\u2019re at least 99-and-a-half percent accurate, and probably 100 percent,\u201d he replied.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
